OUR STORY
We are family...
Founded in 1946 by George Wutt, Keystone Bolt and Supply Company was originally located in Los Angeles, California, on West Pico Blvd. In February of 1947, Keystone became incorporated, and John Marshall joined the Keystone team. After George passed away in 1953, John Marshall purchased the company’s stock and became the sole owner.
Under the leadership of John D. Marshall, in 1993, Keystone moved out of Los Angeles, and into a larger facility in Corona, California. This has been the home base to this family run business ever since. In the early 2000’s, John’s two sons, Jason and John R. joined the ranks, and the fourth generation of Marshalls came up. In 2022, John Dean and his wife Mary Jayne, CFO to Keystone Bolt, moved to Tennessee, to semi-retire. Their oldest son, Jason Marshall, took the reins, where he will see Keystone continue to grow into the future.
In 1955, Keystone outgrew their current facility and moved down the block, to a larger warehouse, located at 2982 West Pico Blvd. Shortly after this move John brought on board his sons, Gordon and Walter Marshall.
In 1972, after the passing of John Marshall, his grandson, John Dean Marshall came on board to work alongside his uncles in the family business. In the late 1980’s, both Gordon and Walter retired, and John D. Marshall assumed the role of President of Keystone Bolt & Supply Co.
